{Motivational Monday} Finals Done & Vacation

Guess who’s back!!!!!!!! Okay, you don’t have to guess. It’s me! LOL. So today is the first Monday of my semestral break! I’ve waited too long for this and now this is it. Our finals ended last Friday, and let me tell you this, it is too draining! Although I can tell myself that it was not my very best, but it still drained the hell out of my system. All right, enough with the complaining, I’m here for some motivation for the week!

{Motivational Monday} First Day of School

This is it! It’s my first day in college junior year and I’m so giddy I don’t even know what to expect. I am certainly going to take my major subjects this year, but aside from that, I don’t know anything anymore. I just hope our professors will be generous enough when it comes to grades, because I need my grades to stay as they are (or better yet, higher!). This Monday’s motivational post is mainly for myself, because I can’t think of any way to calm myself down so I’m typing this early in the morning (it’s 6 am here in the Philippines) and posting this before 10 am. My classes start at 9 and my house is still two jeepneys (a very famous mode of transportation here) away from my school. Although I think you guys could still somehow relate to this if anyone of you is also having their first day, be it school, work, or anything new in your lives.

{Motivational Monday} Positivism & Inspiration

[No Soundtrack Saturday/Sunday last weekend, because both days have been so busy, I didn’t even have the time to turn my Spotify on and listen to music while I do all the work. Anyway, it’s a Monday again and I’m down for another motivational post today!] Almost all of us hate Mondays. It means that you have to get up early, prep up as soon as possible, go to work or school again. You have to fight for your spot on the train or else you will be late and it’s not how you want to start your week. First of all, you’ve exerted so much effort to get up from your comfy bed, which seems to be comfier during Monday mornings. Second, it’s annoying. Third, you just can’t wait to get this day done and over with. Let me tell you one thing, though, try doing all those things with a smile on your face first thing in the morning and the annoyance Monday could give you will lessen, at the very least. Also, this is the first Monday of the month! Meaning, let us start it in the most positive way so that the whole month will be positive as well. Law of attraction will be put into action. Who wants to start their day badly, anyway? I’ll admit it, I hate Mondays, too! But I always keep in mind that I need to be positive especially on Mondays. We usually start everything on a Monday, it’s like a worldwide custom. This may not be too motivational for everybody’s liking, I just want to remind all of you to always be positive in everything we do, especially on Mondays!! I’m trying to learn to love Mondays, because it will be forever in our lives. Might as well love and put up with it.

{Motivational Monday} Happy Endings

So today’s my faculty’s enrollment day, and I have mentioned on the last Motivational Monday post that I had just passed my requirements for my scholarship. My tuition has been made available since Wednesday, but I still have to get it from my guarantor’s office in Alabang. That’s like miles away from where I live so I have to wait for my uncle to pick it up for me ’cause that’s where he works. I won’t be able to enroll today, because I don’t have my check yet, but tomorrow I will surely be able to. I’m just extra giddy today because tomorrow I will be an official junior college student!! How great is that, right? Day by day, I get one step closer to actually achieving my dreams, and it’s what keeps me going.

{Motivational Monday} #blessed

It’s a Monday again and this morning, I had to go to my university to claim some documents as my scholarship requirements. I’ve been doing this since freshman year, I will be in my junior year on August. It brings so much hassle since I still have to request them, sign a lot of papers and forms, go to the dean’s office to have more signatures, then I line-up at the accounting office to pay for those documents. It doesn’t stop there, I can’t get my requested documents just yet. I need to wait after three working days to come back and actually claim them. Never lose any receipts, though, we all know that.

Sure, it’s always been hassle and tiring, but I have to do these things and pass all the required documents to my guarantor. They would give me my tuition in check so I’ll be able to enroll and go to college. Not everybody gets an opportunity like that as I do. It has always been a motivation for me to study as hard as I could, and not feel lazy in getting all my requirements at the beginning and end of the year.

Free college education for a girl like me is such a big big big help to me and my mom. Especially since I lost my dad during my senior year in high school. I consider myself very much #blessed, because I study in one of the top universities in the Philippines. It has always been my dream to study there, and through scholarship, I’m one step closer to achieving my dreams. Now all I have to do is to be consistent in everything I do, focus more on my academics, and always be thankful. Free education has always been my motivation, and knowing that I will be able to graduate without having my mom to get any amount from her own pocket makes me happy because I know how big it is of a help for the both of us.

So let us all start the week right and be thankful for everything that we have! Happy Monday, you guys.

Love and light,
Prei
