In June, I have achieved one of the major milestones any blogger could go through. It was 2 years in the making, and to be completely honest, I never thought I’d make it that far. At the back of my mind, this blog will always be like one of previous ones that get abandoned after a few posts. But to my own surprise, I’m still here, stronger than ever (lol!!), and still blogging for my own interest.
The milestone I’m talking about is that we reached 5,000 hits!!! Numbers never really mattered to me, but seeing that there have been at least a thousand people visiting my blog is something else. It means that they click on my link to see what’s on your blog and that they find it interesting! Cool, right?
At first, I thought that reaching hundreds and thousands of hits on my blog is just natural until someone from the blogging community actually congratulated me for reaching exactly 1,000 hits last year. Crazy stuff right there, if I say so myself. That’s why I also included reaching 5,000 hits on my bucket list. It served as an inspiration for me to try to publish better content for the people who subscribe to and read my blog.
What does blogging do for me?
Blogging has always been one of the things I never get tired of doing. It relaxes me. It allows me to be my full confident self. It is something I’m comfortable with. I consider all my blogs my babies, my brainchild(ren). And although they are just non-sense most of the time, it’s okay. I wrote them, they’re my thoughts, they’re mine, they’re my life, and they make me happy. And that’s what matters most. Now I can finally say that blogging is my passion. Everytime I blog, I feel alive. I can feel my blood flowing, I feel the rush, you know?
Blogging keeps me going, whatever it is that I have to do. And my blog is my outlet for all the things that I like doing, as well as for everything that I’d like to do in the future.
My happiness, my choice.
I’ve mentioned in my previous posts that I’ve been blogging for quite some time now, and that I’ve jumped from one platform to another. No matter what I do, no matter where I am, I still go back to blogging. Especially when I had to go on a hiatus last year because of more important things, i.e. school, I promised that I’d be back.
Blogging makes me happy, and whatever happens, I will always choose to blog and share my all-around-the-place thoughts to the internet.
Discover your passion, too!
Not everyone is aware of their passion, at least not yet. If there’s something that you really enjoy doing, if it makes you happy, and if you see yourself doing it in the long run, then I guess there’s your passion! But if you’re one of those people who haven’t found their passion yet, it’s okay. There’s no rush. Take your time and don’t pressure yourself.
If it helps, there’s an online course about finding and pursuing your passion that you can find here. Also, I’ve got a discount code for all of you! Just type in ‘precious’ in the coupon code box to avail of the 10% off discount.
Enrolment begins 1st or September until the 10th. See you all there!!
Love and light,
Prei

Damn it. I’m envious! Haha. As you can see from my post at Masterclass, I’ve been in WordPress for 6-7 years but it was only just this year that I made it as a fan service for bloggers and writers alike…

Happy for you! Two years! I guess for as long as you are happy with what you are doing…for as long as the fire inside is there to keep you company…then you are on the right track.
